Best comic book store in Pensacola, Florida (FL) 2024

I am a student at USM and I will not be purchasing my books here anymore. I purchased two books from their store, then not a week later, I took some other textbooks to their store to get them appraised and to sell them. The man who appeared to manage the store assisted me, however he was overly blunt and told me my five textbooks (one being in almost brand new condition with an unused connect code) were worth basically nothing to him or the store. I understand the business side of this, and that it wasn’t worth much to him due to them not needing more of the same books, but the condescending attitude in which he spoke to me as a customer during the exchange (me being a young woman and him being a middle aged man) was unacceptable in any case. Additionally I went to return the books I bought the previous week, and I was unaware until I read the receipt that I could not get a refund on my books (one week and one day after I bought them- unused and undamaged.) That was my fault in not reading the initial agreement well enough that was presented when I bought the books, however moving forward I will not be wasting any more of my hard earned money at a store where I have learned the policies are too strict and much more importantly my business is not appreciated or taken seriously by the man who runs the store. The only reason I give this review two stars rather than one is because the women at the counter are always pleasant and helpful. College students, do not waste your money at this store unless Chegg or Barnes and Noble just aren’t an option for you. ~Alexa

An okay place for books. I remember why I stopped coming here a few years back. All of the comfortable chairs have been removed. I used to come and buy coffee and sample and always leave with a book or two. Standing in the aisles with no place to sit, no place to place coffee.... I find it easier and more comfortable shopping from home with Amazon. Sorry.... but it IS the truth. ~Chester
