9 Best gas station in St. Petersburg, Florida (FL) 2024

As we all know the gas prices keep rising and the lines are getting longer. However the staff is pleasant and there is nothing they can do to help the issue, except when the line goes one way keep others from going the opposite way and don't let people sit in thier cars with lines out the kazoo. They should move up to the side of the premises and wait. ~Cora

Thornton's and Wawa are the two titans to fill your tank in my book. Everyone else is just puttering along. Thornton's had great deals, even better FREEZES and plenty of pumps to make any hour a safe stop. Clerks are usually friendly and I've never had an issue. One of those rare places you look forward to stopping by when your gas tank/kids/pets/husband/etc are barking at you to stop. Clean bathrooms are a big PLUS. Knocked a star because I'm not thrilled with the fact there's only 2 in the area, but hey, you know you're a success when your customers go out of their way to make a stop. Also, got a Nice Rewards program that I gotta recommend! ~Jonathan

Full stock of every thing inneighbor store,auto needs,fully stock with name brand beverages,alcoholic,non alcohol,unfriendly,rude personel presentwhen lvisited 4-5pmwhen l visited won't visit again unless an emergency!!!! ~Carolyn

I was there just for gas and got in-and-out pretty quick. What annoys me is the fact that the clip that holds the trigger was missing. I had to fill up 25 gallons of fuel a fuel and holding the handle the entire time is a pain. If someone was elderly or not that strong they would have a problem with this. I typically get my fuel from the Speedway on madera beach. They don't have this problem. ~Greg

There are three people who work here two of which are not originally from the US the other one is a middle-aged white male with a scraggly beard. The younger foreign guy needs to be watched carefully when ringing things up he will manually enter a price that is incorrect and weill try and make it seem like it's your fault when you call him out on it. If you notice this I suggest taking a picture and reporting it. The other two seem fine but this guy is by far one of the worst human beings I have had the mispleasure of dealing with. He should be thrown in prison for theft. Also there hours are made up. They close when they feel like it. After reading reviews I also noticed that they won't respond to this theft issue. Might have to start recording the experiences and hand it over to the proper channels. ~Kevin

Yeah I would recommend just going to a whole different gas station this gas station isn't worth it the owner is pretty rude and you might as well go to Wawa race track or even 7-Eleven so so you don't have to spend the minimum and you don't have to get a random charge or seeing the prices be different than what is on the sticker ~Corey
