Best hardware store in Alton, Illinois (IL) 2024

I want to tell you a little bit about associate Rachael and associate Chris these two went above and beyond the call of duty for me at my recent shopping I wanted to make sure I let you guys know about them. It was one minute to closing maybe even store should’ve been closed one minute. Somehow I talked my way into the store to get a plumbing part that was an emergency fix to get my water back on. Needless to say I was in an out in just a couple minutes and these two deserve high-fives and recognition for going above and beyond the call of duty on my recent visit ! This was at Alton location on Homer Adams Parkway, Illinois keep up the good work! ~Lance

Great selection of quality hardware items at a reasonable price. I got good advice and the right part to repair a sliding closet door. Yes, I have returned and have made subsequent purchases. Bo's is a great alternative to the big box stores if you appreciate customer service. He seems to be a very good gentleman. It's a small store with a HUGE inventory. If you don't see it, ask. Instead of buying a plastic bag with a bunch of screws or bolts, you can buy one or 100 at a reasonable price. I recommend doing business with this gentleman! ~George
