Dollar General

I was in this store shopping today. It seemed as though an employee/vendor came in to work on a display. I was standing in proximity to the register when I heard them speaking. I'm going to assume she was asking the manager (middle aged man, on the taller side, graying hair, clean cut) what needed to be done. The manager started yelling at her about how he wasn't going to let her stock the dairy display??? Then he said something about how she just needed to go in the back and find sunglasses to put out. I'm not sure what it was all about but to hear a store manager openly berate an employee is bad business. I did notice that he was the only employee in the store and he was stuck at the register. Maybe he thinks it's beneath him to ring up customers. But now I understand why he doesn't have an employees. This store is not pristine and needs all the help it can get. I refuse to shop in a store that allows upper management to treat it's employees badly. You've lost my business Dollar General. ~Erica

Do you like warm pop? How about room temperature red bull? Because of the Drink Cooler has been broken since October,A whole wall dedicated to a massive variety of cold drinks is being kept warm by a malfunctioning cooler. Now its a cooler full of warm , unappealing , undrinkable cans. Huge waste. For three months. Does no one care? None the less. I have been buying 2 cold energy drinks every day at another store. Lost my business. ~Bob

Walgreens

Just literally walked out of this store and immediately had to leave a review about the horrible customer service I experienced. I bought a few items 2 days ago, nothing wrong with any of the items. I simply wanted to return them. I didn't have a receipt because It was emailed to the numer on file, and I used someone elses phone number to give them the points or whatever the thing is nowadays. The woman associate tries to initiate the return, and asks for the phone number and proceeds to ring up the items. She says I didn't get the items from there because they're not showing up. She then proceeds to ask if it's been over 30 days. I said I bought them from here, 2 days ago, and got the item from whichever area (i pointed to it) and pointed to the associate who rung me up before. She says that she's not calling me a liar etc... Then her manager comes over and asks me for the number again, asks me to contact the friend to get the receipt, asks me if I have an account and to put my phone number in the system. I said I don't have an account and I didn't use my phone number when I was here.... the whole transaction felt like I was being interrogated about the return, as if I was lying or trying to run a scam. I even said I can show the transaction on my bank statement. The both of them made me feel like I didn't spend my hard earned dollars at their establishment and I was some kind of scam artist. The male manager was even worse than his subordinate withbhis condescending tone. Those two employees should be written up and take a refresher training on customer service skills because they're costing their organization money. Skip this store! ~Suzzee
