Last week, I dove into the process of buying a Ford F150, and with plenty of trepidation based on previous experiences in other dealerships – especially knowing that right now, there’s not a whole lot of room for negotiation. But what I experienced with McCrocklin completely took me by surprise.
Clearly, someone in senior management has figured out how to instill at every level of the organization the critical importance of putting the customers needs first, and doing so with integrity, honesty and exceptional customer service. Every one of the 6 people I had contact with, was so accommodating. I have to admit that I kept wondering when the ax might fall. But it never did. They were responsive, and proactively offered to do things to make the experience easier and without tagging on extra costs. The final price was very fair, the paperwork process was extremely efficient and thorough, and it was all about “how can we make this as easy as possible for you” in terms of meeting certain logistic needs I had with this transaction. And again, without charging me extra.
Car buyers don’t have a lot of leverage right now in the current constricted supply environment, but somehow every single person made me feel like meeting my needs was the number 1 objective, along with doing it at a fair price.
If you are on the fence about buying a vehicle right now, and fearful that you are going to get “it’s our way or the highway” attitude, then you most definitely need to reach out to these folks. Special shout out to Matt who led the charge in sales, and to Tanya in repairs who helped get me fast service needed to finalize the deal. ~BTK
