Best telephone company in Davenport, Iowa (IA) 2024

@Verizon, Terrible service and experience. We needed to add a line to our personal account, and we did just that. But then the manager (Sue) and another worker (Location: 5256 Elmore Ave. C, Davenport, IA 52807) told us that if we added the line onto our business account then we wouldn’t have to pay the phone tax and that’s what we did. A couple days later we received a statement in the mail and it was our phone bill with the tax, we decided to go to Verizon and asked why the tax was included when you told us the other day that if we add the line on our business account it would be tax free. When we asked the manager (Sue) about this situation, we waited over 30 minutes before they came out of the back room to tell us why that happened, so I would assume that the manager and the workers were talking about how to address this situation. She came out of the back room and wouldn’t admit that she said we wouldn’t have to pay the phone tax if we add the line on our business account, then we asked her politely to call the other worker that was helping us add the phone line onto our business account, she said “he’s not working for the next two days” then we asked her politely to pull up the cameras and show us what we all said that day. She said “I can’t” how can you not show us the cameras when your the manager, that makes us feel like you did say that but you don’t want to admit your mistake. ~Brian
