Best creole restaurant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (LA) 2024

I like seasoning and flavor. I find the food quite average. The spinach and artichoke dip was somewhat bland to me. I am comparing their dip to The Chimes. The Chimes’ spinach and artichoke dip is a staple to reference. Fatman (yes this is his food critic name) called our meal, gourmet hospital food (wooo those are fighting words). The melted club is a sandwich and That’s all I have to say about that (in my Forrest Gump voice). The ranch blows nuggets. The bread pudding was the best part of my experience. I’d go back if someone wanted to get bread pudding. Our waiter was great! ~Rogue

What a great place to give a shot! The food was really really good. I stopped in on Sunday May 15th to have lunch with my daughter while we were visiting but they were short staffed and extremely busy so I just decided to try the White Chocolate raspberry bread pudding and boy oh boy was it amazing! I ended up getting it to go. The young lady and young man that was at the Togo area were extremely pleasant people I decided to give it a shot again the next day and I’m glad I did! Our food and service was amazing once again. Our waiter was the nicer gentleman ever and was also very very pleasant! The food was fresh, tasty and hot on arrival!!! If you’re visiting I would recommend coming here but be aware of busy hours as you may have a long wait time. ~Barbie
