Oooo That Girl! I almost lost it yesterday as I dropped off my prescription. I really wanted to just curse that attendant out and take all of my prescriptions else where.
I was told to bring in my discount pharmacy cards so that they could determine which would benefit me the most, a couple of days earlier when I called to speak to someone about my prescriptions that were ready.
So as I dropped off my prescription and since I had three other prescriptions ready I told Ms Kasey Barrios that I needed all prescriptions filled and ready for today, (April 21). But I also explained that I also had these pharmacy discount cards, asked if she could run them to see which would benefit me the most and she had a fit. She insisted that she could only accept one! And I asked again if she could run all of them to see which would benefit me the most. She again insisted that she could only accept one and then she was like, Do you expect me to run ALL of these cards on all of your prescriptions???? and I said, yes if that's what it takes. In the meantime...Another tech walked to the other window and Kasey asked her, (with attitude) Do y'all usually run all these cards? And the lady replied, yes we do...AND Kasey replied, "on all of the prescriptions?" The lady told her, "just choose one prescription and run all the cards to see which has the biggest discount." Well, she begrudgingly proceeded to run the cards on my prescriptions."
As a manager at a hotel, I know how important customer service is; and as a customer.... I found it easily determined that she didn't want to have to do the leg work to help me out. It was easy to see that she didn't not want the trouble to help me.
By the time she was complete with the task, (as I would call it), however; she realized how upset she made me, seeing the tears uncontrollably running down my face and my continued attempt to wipe them....she replied with a little less of an attitude how much I would be saving with "the middle card", is how she put it to me. She still wasn't happy about the situation and she never gave a smile or a thank you....AND as I see it....she didn't see any need to apologize or even say the words, "I'm sorry". I'm guessing with the three caret ring she had on her finger, she felt as though she was better than me and therefore I didn't deserve any kind of empathy. I can only hope that you do something to reprimand this lady or to have her undergo more training with customer service.
CVS is more expensive BUT at least when I had my medications being filled by their technicians when I would arrive to pick-up or drop-off, I was ALWAYS greeted with a smile and respect. I'm not sure if I can go back to CVS because of affordability but I am sincerely thinking about it anyway ~Ruby
