Best supermarket in Gretna, Louisiana (LA) 2024

Just a short drive out of my neighborhood (which has no supermarkets), a brand new Rouses at Stumpf and Franklin. Simple morning trip to get a Bakery Chocolate Doberge Cake, personalized, out the door, and home for a birthday surprise. It's a very busy parking lot out there. Shoppers walking everywhere. Tight driving lanes. Watch out.👀 (Oh, and Rouses cake costs about ⅓ the $$$$ the famous NOLA bakery gets. No offense intended, but they get about a hundred dollars. It's Cake. That generations old "G" bakery makes great stuff. But their store isn't on the Westbank anymore. So, thank you, Rouses bakers!) ~Barry
