There was strong evidence that the staff stole $500 or more cash from my wallet. Only 4 other customers and the staff were present. The police were called immediately. The General Manager refused to provide me with information from the surveillance cameras. He said he was sorry and he’s not a police officer. The staff returned my wallet with my credit cards intact and all of my cash gone. There was only a 25-30 min window to investigate and the theft was reported immediately. The restaurant was virtually empty and it would have been simple to rule out certain staff. I pleaded to investigate as this was happening in real time. The GM said he would only handover the camera data only if formally asked. He also added that it could have been one of the 4 customers. I said please rule it out. I stayed for 2 hours and there was no cooperation, due diligence from the general manager. ~Jenny
