Appointment for 8:30. got here at 8:45. Checked in with security, got assigned a door, backed up to the door and took the paperwork to the office at door 512 just like security said to do.
it's now 1:30, they're only halfway done unloading so dispatch called the receiving office to see what's taking so long
they told him "your driver was late so they're working them in as best they can"
This is a warehouse that won't take you if you show up too early.. I got here as quick as I could. I am literally the only live unload truck hooked up to any of the doors on the dry goods warehouse.
The yard drivers have been putting trailers in and taking trailers out of doors all around me. So they give drop and hook trailers precedence over a live unload? ~Desiree
