We go here because they seem to have a little better variety and selection compared to similar stores closer to our home. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Always running a special on some thing or another. ~Kurt

Great little store. Has a huge selection of liqour, wine and beer. Staff are very courteous and were helpful when I couldn't find something I was looking for. Overall great store would definitely go back. A staple of Emmitsburg been there in the same location over 50 years. ~Lawrence

Cashiers with attitudes. Denies access to public rest rooms. Door locked with sign saying no public rest rooms. Cashiers could care less about health concerns, requiring use of the rest room. Total BS. Gas more expensive than other places in the area ~Timothy

This was a happy little find on our road trip. We shared the smoked wings. The wings e week smoked, and they have us a chance to try all the sauces. The cheese burger was good and the fries were nice and crispy. The burnt ends were tasty as a sandwich and in the platter. The pit beef was so tender, but it did not have a bark. The baked beans has huge chunks of meat in them with a tomato based sauce. The Mac and cheese had a great cheese sauce and the cornbread was moist and flavorful. Overall, we will now plan to stop here on our way through on our next road trip. ~Chris

Emmitsburg vet is the BEST!!! I’m posting this two days from Easter- my dog, Perse, got into my Easter basket, which housed a cup full of individually wrapped chocolates. She ate all of them, including the wrappers. By the time I got through poison control, it was 15 minutes before Emmitsburg vet closed. Even so, they let me bring Perse in and helped her out. Everyone was super sweet and understanding, and made sure that Perse got the best care possible. So far, she’s doing okay, though we’ve still got to wait for any poison symptoms. Emmitsburg went above and beyond to help my pup. THANK YOU!!!!! ~Robin

Fantastic service! Blew a tire on our RV. They stayed open late for us and worked their butts off to get the seized tires off and replaced. Very reasonably priced! Highly recommend this business! We are safely back on the road to MN. ~Melissa
