I brought my pup chance in with an ulcerated histiocytoma. The vet and all of the staff were super amazing. He was able to get in quickly and received antibiotics. Within 4 days his wound is already healing up nicely. They cleaned his wound really well, treated him so kindly even while he was super crazy. I received a phone call a few days after our appointment to check on how his progress was going. He received vaccinations while there and is doing really great. I definitely will be using this office for all of chances medical needs and i recommend them for other pet owners.

I love emmitsburg vet hospital! We take both of our cats there for regular visits and extras as needed. The staff is always very responsive and helpful, and Dr. McDonald has a wonderful bedside manner. You can tell that she is paying attention to the details and cares about making you and your pets feel cared for! I also love that they have been able to give us alternatives for our harder to treat cat, such as giving us an at home urine collection kit rather than causing him undue stress by getting the sample in their office.

She has taken the time to help us find the right treatment for one of my dogs who has severe separation anxiety. In general, this practice is very thorough and will take the time to listen to your concerns!! I highly recommend!

Great place to take your dog! My puppy Dora has extreme anxiety during grooming. Emmitsburg Vet staff always takes good care of her. Appointments are quick and easy to make! They also offer a new kind of heart guard prescription that is combined with flea and tick medication. Very happy our vet! 😊
