Dr. Julie Scaccia is great. She was wonderful with my (extremely anxious) border collie. They got us in for a last minute appointment, and Dr. Julie spent so much time with us and our dog. She discussed all of our options and was very knowledgeable. She met us at our level to provide education to help us make an informed decision for our dog. She was very kind and helpful. She made us feel extremely comfortable putting our dog’s care in her hands!

They were so patient with me and took time to answer my concerns. The vet emailed me a lot of helpful info. My dog loved the tech a bit to much( in a good way) I thought my dog was going to stay with her. 3 other people recommended this place to me. So thankful.

We were seen promptly and our dog is always treated gently with lots of love and treats!! Dr. Scaccia thoroughly explained her diagnosis and made sure that we felt comfortable with our understanding of treatment and potential outcomes. It definitely helps that they absolutely LOVE animals and recognize that they are members of your family!!

You will not find a more caring, knowledgeable and fairly priced veterinary practice. Dr Scacia, Dr Gibson and the rest of the team have provided phenomenal care for all of our pets.

I don’t write reviews ever but felt the need due to the great care they provide. Have been going to Rock Spring with my 2 dogs for around 2 years now and they are wonderful! Everyone from their secretaries to their techs to their vets are so friendly, always treating my dogs like their own and providing great care. Just wonderful service all the way around, all of them are happy, nice people that love animals and love their job and it shows.

I cannot express how grateful I am to the staff here. I came in with an urgently sick rat who was struggling to breathe, hoping that somehow they'd be willing to take a look at him despite not having an appointment. The woman at the front desk was a saint, taking my rat's issue very seriously from the start and immediately rushing off to see if anyone could look at him (once again, I didn't have an appointment, so I was expecting to be turned away). They allowed him to stay at the clinic throughout the day, so that they could assess him between their appointments. Everyone, all of the staff I met, are complete angels. When going over my rat's situation, I was NEVER pressured into doing/paying for anything I couldn't, and never made to feel like a lesser animal mommy for any issues that had arose (The vets I've met in the past treated me like scum for not being able to afford every single possible preventative for my dog all at once). Everything was affordable, and after a single day of medication and gentle forcefeeding, my rat (who was pretty much on deaths door) is eating/drinking/grooming again, which I didn't expect in the slightest. I can't say if his upswing will last, but I WILL say that this clinic came to his rescue 100%, and mine as well. I'll stop gushing now, but I could go on! This is for certain the place I'll be taking all of my babies from now on, thank you guys SO much!!

We have taken our animals to this vet for MANY years but since they have changed ownership it has tumbled down hill faster than Wesley in The Princess Bride. Don’t expect to get in and out of here within half an hour, even if you’re only picking up a prescription. When we had to put our elderly cat to sleep they made us wait in the car for over half an hour while they had a room open for us simply because the front desk was too lazy to get up or call and tell us they were ready for us per their policy. I had to leave my family in the car to beg them to let us inside with our dying cat. They only added further stress and negative feelings to an already heartbreaking day. They will run unnecessary tests and charge you exorbitant fees for simple animal care. Go literally anywhere else. They do not care for their aging animals at all. They will gouge you until your pet is in the ground.

I give this Veterinarian a five star review, right on down to the staff, and Dr. Gibson for caring for my dog. She was very professional, and worked with me to treat my German Shepherd's condition. I highly recommend this Veterinarian practice!

Dr. Gibson and our tech took fantastic care of my cat Lucy. The tech was so gentle with her and Dr. Gibson was thorough in her exam. She gave me clear and easy to follow instructions on how to help us determine what is bothering sweet Lucy. We take all 3 of our cats here and know that they will be well cared for!

I have taken my pets to Dr. Gibson for years. Everyone at the clinic is amazing. I have a 10yr old boxer who has health issues and whenever I need them they are there. I wouldn't take my girl anywhere else.
