Shoppers

I had never shopped here before. It felt dystopian in its bare bones, run down and sparsely populated state. The few shoppers and the staff seemed to shuffle slowly along, like zombies. The store was huge, and stocked curiously. The had whole Virginia hams for instance. The fruit was 1/4 rotten. They had the brioche version of Bay's English Muffins and they were as amazing as the orginal. I have never seen this brioche version anywhere else. The prices were crazy high. I noticed so many things were priced higher than my suburban markets by $1 or more!!! And their sales prices were stingy, like regular supermarket's sales prices. I guess they never heard of loss leaders. Alcohol is sold here which is unusual for Maryland. Must be a grandfathering thing. I might step in again for the Bay's muffins. And the Virginia ham. And to see the "zombies". ~KinD
