Every year when I arrive on the Vineyard, Katydid is always one of my first stops. It is the perfect place to shop for any occasion. For me I go there for all of my summer basics as well as if I have a special occasion. The staff is super helpful picking out the perfect pieces with out being too pushy. Katydid also has a nice size range. In addition to all of Katydid’s clothes, she has lots of accessories and tons of cute gifts perfect for a host gift or a birthday. Definitely pop in the next time you are on the island. ~Katie

Snippy salesperson may greet you at this Edgartown shop. The selection was just OK, fairly limited to the politics and ideas in the news. We prefer another store in Vineyard Haven ~M

Yes, gas is more expensive but it's a full service gas station so it's expected. On my last visit, Delano was sweet. Upon asking him if they sold windshield washer fluid, he offered to fill it up for me. I've never had an issue with service. The kids who work here are nice. ~Jessica

Incredibly understaffed. The wait at the window is absurd. This has been a problem for years, not COVID related. ~Josh

I shopped online and so I cannot speak to any in-store experience that I had. My reaction when I received my shipment yesterday was "Wow!". The packaging was adorable and fun and there was a note included that made it feel very personal. Now the garment: I ordered the Emerson Fry Francina Caftan and it is beautiful! The online pics do not do it justice. The fabric is a beautiful shade of blue with an intricate tiny tulip(?) design. The cut and all of the construction details are perfect.
