Without question, the best clothing boutique(s) on the island. Nell and its sister store, 20 Main, share a distinct, creative vibe - exhibited flawlessly by the new owner, Mairead. The staff is first rate, the stores are gorgeous, and the merchandise feels like it was hand selected by someone who understands style and individual spirit. Can’t say enough great things about this place, except that I wish I lived closer.

I shopped online and so I cannot speak to any in-store experience that I had. My reaction when I received my shipment yesterday was "Wow!". The packaging was adorable and fun and there was a note included that made it feel very personal. Now the garment: I ordered the Emerson Fry Francina Caftan and it is beautiful! The online pics do not do it justice. The fabric is a beautiful shade of blue with an intricate tiny tulip(?) design. The cut and all of the construction details are perfect. It flows just the way it is supposed to. Thank you Nell!

Love this store for its super well curated selection - there is something for everyone, from trendy to classic, and a wide age range as well. Love shopping there for myself, as well as whenever I need to pick up a gift for anyone else. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable about their brands, and has helped me put together an outfit for an occasion countless times. They go above and beyond and have even helped me steam a dress I was going to wear that night in store. Been here a million times, will go a million more. I wish there were six stars.

I truly wish I could rate this place 0 stars. Immediately after walking out of the store looked to see if others had the same experience & I’m not surprised (but disappointed) to see that I’m not alone. First off, the staff could not have cared less that anyone was in there. Second, they have a dog in the store with no leash that’s absolutely adorable so I went to pet him, and he was super sweet. My friend asked what kind of dog and with the way she looked at us you would have thought we had asked her to do the most annoying task. My friends walked out of the store a little later and apparently they’d overheard her say “I can’t believe that girl is touching my dog” while the other girl rolled her eyes. First - if you don’t want your dog to be pet don’t have it wandering around your store. Second, you could nicely say something or have something on the dog that says no petting. Looking at the other reviews this seems to be a common thing that if you’re not an actual model you are so beneath them, and that they will talk about you. Being kind goes a long way, and the sense of entitlement is incredibly off-putting. Also, the dog is definitely theirs, it’s all over their Instagram.

5/29: What an unpleasant staff experience. My wife and I were shopping for her. She found a shirt and hat. I paid 155 for the two items. Transaction time 8:02. My wife asked to try on a pair of jeans. We were told no, store is closed. It was 8:05. Store closed at 8pm Very rude staff go elsewhere!

While me and my fiancee were shopping for about 7 to 8 minutes, a store clerk constantly gave me the up and down look; judging me in a condescending way. We didn't bother making a purchase after that! Piece of advice, you should really consider fixing your staff if you want to make constant sales.
