Best convenience store in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts (MA) 2025

I’m going to have to give this place 1 star, I’ve been coming to this place for over ten years and anytime I come in during the evening or overnight hours, the staff behind the counter are rude. This evening I waited in line for 3 minutes while one person behind the counter was ringing up another customer and the other person at the counter just stood there doing nothing and made no eye contact with me (two registers available.) I waited patiently and he finally made eye contact with me and I asked him “are you open” and he said yes. I normally wouldn’t write a review but I always get this kind of treatment from the staff here and I’m sick of it. This kind of behavior from the staff here has gotten worse over the years and I’ll just say I’m Asian-American and the evening/night crew here seem to have a bias against people who look like me. I always say thank you and have never give the staff here a hard time. But enough is enough. I’ve observed how the staff treat others and they never do what they do to me all the time. After posting this review I’ll take my shopping elsewhere. ~Inatrance92
