Best tax preparation service in Ann Arbor, Michigan (MI) 2024

I’ve had the worst experience with Noah. I have done my taxes with H&R block for the past 7 years. I recently moved to Ann Arbor and booked this appointment to file my taxes. The appointment was booked for a whole hour. That is usually more than enough to submit all the documents and finish my tax returns in one session. He took a look at my documents, and entered some info, and that took him about 20 minutes, and then decided that my documents were too much to upload in one session, and he needs to work on them and then finish up and have me come back later (he booked an appointment 10 days later). He gave me wrong information about my tax return, and I later sent him an email with the correct answer (from the IRS) to make sure he does not make any mistake. He made me wait for 10 days, and when I showed up to the follow up appointment I was shocked that it was cancelled (without notifying me). He decided not to finish my documents and asked me to find another tax preparer. That was a waste of my time by a very incompetent person. I will never come back to H&R block. ~Hiba
