Goodwill - Arden Hills

I'm leaving this review because I really love buying clothes at Goodwill, but I haven't been able to lately due to new changes. I went clothes shopping during my last visit, found some items I was interested in and went to use the dressing room. The dressing room wasn't there anymore! I put all my items back except for a shirt I was sure would work with me. I thought I could just buy the shirt and return it if it didn't work. Sure enough, the shirt didn't work so I came to return it. Turns out they only do store credit. : ( Sooo not helpful! They gave me my money back for this time, but I felt so defeated. Buying clothes at Goodwill is one of my favorite things, but I just can't do it anymore due to these changes and I'm really sad about it. To buy clothes at a thrift store you NEED a fitting room. It's just essential. Or at least a really good return policy. I don't know if this is a decision at all Goodwill's or just the Arden Hills location, but I hope it changes. I'm not leaving this review as a Karen, I'm leaving this review as someone who really likes goodwill and wants to keep buying clothes there but now I literally can't. If someone from Goodwill corporate is reading this, please bring back the dressing rooms! ~McKenzie

Cub Pharmacy

I use this pharmacy because they will mail my prescriptions. According to the law, though, they can’t mail out controlled substances. Sometimes I call them and they can’t find a prescription, which the next day they call to tell me is ready. I never know if a person on the other side of the phone is competent or not. The pharmacy has a website I use for requesting refills on my other prescriptions. UPDATED: I called on a Tuesday to have a mental health RX filled that was written to be filled the next day. It was a medication for my ADHD, which is a controlled substance. I spoke with one of the pharmacy assistants, who told me they would fill the RX and I could pick it up later. I told the assistant I would be in Thursday. When I arrived on Thursday, the assistant at the drive-through window said they couldn’t give it to me until the next day due to Cub policies; this was according to the pharmacist on duty. I arrive on Friday to be told the same thing, that is, I couldn’t pick it up until Saturday, according to the pharmacist on duty. I arrive on Saturday to be told by another assistant that the RX could not be filled until 27 days after I had picked up my last RX, according to the pharmacist on duty, and I could pick it up on Monday. I told the assistant I was traveling to another state on Tuesday for two weeks and absolutely had to have the RX ready by Monday at the latest. She told me Monday was the day it could be refilled, and that she would leave notes about the absolute need for the RX to be filled Monday morning. I called Cub Pharmacy on Monday to be told they would’t even have the med in stock until Thursday! Then the pharmacist blamed me for trusting the assistants, that I should have spoken directly with the pharmacist. My response was, “So your assistants are making things up and are not trustworthy!” Then the pharmacist blamed me for not knowing the RX was too early to refill, to which I reminded him the RX was written to be filled on the previous Tuesday. Do NOT trust this pharmacy or Cub pharmaceutical policies. Do NOT trust the assistants, for they claim to represent the word of the pharmacist when they are just making things up. I am transferring all my meds out of Cub Pharmacy as soon as I can. They are not informed, honest, and blame the customer for their very shoddy service. ~Tray
