I’ve been a customer of First National Bank in Spring Valley since my youngest boy was 1 week old! All three of my boys now have their own checking and savings accounts. We all love the small town feel we get when we walk in the door. You don’t feel like another customer, you feel like family. I definitely suggest First National to all my friends and family! ~Angie

Great customer service. After the thaw began I went out in search of a specific item; a Wayne Water Bug™️. I am from wabasha but found this particular pump in a Home Depot of only Albert Lea. Long story short, I called there long on the way already and spoke to somebody, hoping they’d search for the One they showed in stock! Granted I didn’t need this “part” any more than most at this time, I still had it pinned in to take care of the minor issues I was facing, THAT DAY! They couldn’t locate the one in stock... Turning back to home base, I think about the small-town farm style store that didn’t show up in the first 5 pages of a google search. After searching through the Wayne website for info on these “small box” stores, and calling numerous within a 100 mile search, I was successful in my attempts when after having one confirmed at good ‘ol Valley Farm & Home :( in Spring Valley Minnesóta! Thanks to the young(er) gal for the hold on the part! Minus tax, the part was $10 cheaper than Amazon! ~Coy

I've lived in the community for a number of years having limited options A&W stands out. The outdoor seating and old school drive in is a fun experience. Being seasonal it's always great to see it open for the year. The staff are always awesome. Very friendly and courteous. They certainly work harder than other fast food locations and that should be noted. At the same time it doesn't feel like fast food as a simple order of a gallon of root beer to go can take 30 minutes to receive. Eating at other A&W locations I have to mention it certainly seems the amount of salt used is excessive, I have literally tossed my burger on more than one occasion due to it's similarity to a salt lick and I'm not the only one in my party who has experienced this. The service while great is slow and the food while good all seems salt cured. A mushroom Swiss burger really shouldn't be that salty. I'll certainly eat here again the root beer is awesome and a summer day at a table on the lawn with a frosty mug is a good time, I'd recommend asking for no salt. ~Dan

If I could give you a zero I would! We were in line at the drive through waited an hour to get to the ordering screen! Nobody came over the intercom for 15 minutes so we drove up to the window. The manager and employee saw us sitting at the window but started cleaning and ignored us. Finally the girl walked over and said, we closed at 9 PM. We told her we had been waiting since 8:30 PM in line and now it was 9:30 PM. Anyways we didn't get served, and there were still two cars waiting behind us. The employees should have got on that intercom and told us they were closed or even walked outside to tell us! Poor customer service! We will not go back! ~Karla

Awesome group at Southland. I've been in a jam more than once and they have always been willing to help. Prices are always fair and the work has always been solid. They get things done quick, don't mess you around and are always willing to find a time that works. Everyone is friendly and helpful best place around! ~Dan
