Best convenience store in Conway, New Hampshire (NH) 2024

I’ve only been here a handful of times but I won’t be back again. I went in today to buy some beer and put it on the counter. The woman behind the counter asked for my ID which is the first time I’ve ever been carded here, but no big deal. I hand her my ID and she looks it over for awhile and keeps looking at me. I have a scar on my lip due to a birth defect that was fixed when I was 2 months old. She asks if I got my scar after my ID picture was taken. I tried explaining that I’ve had this scar my whole life and she said “well it’s not in the picture” and wouldn’t sell me the beer. I was honestly so shocked and decided not to waste my time and left. Rude and unacceptable experience. ~Madison
