Best cocktail bar in Avalon, New Jersey (NJ) 2024

Food was great, just like last year. Couple of servers didn't seem too happy, though. Our server was very friendly, but by his own admission, not the brightest. We had to practically beg to have our table cleaned before dessert came. Speaking of, $15 for a slice of cake is a problem. The desserts were good but way over priced, $12 to $15 if memory serves. I had better cake at a diner for $4.50 two weeks later. I'm not expecting prices that low at a restaurant, granted, but cap it at 8 or 9 bucks like most places. I should stress that the restaurant itself is really nice and the burgers and salads were excellent. ~Keith
