Best tax consultant in Newton, New Jersey (NJ) 2024

H&R Block is the equivalent of doing your own Taxes with Turbo Tax. All they will do is input your numbers into their system and tell you what the system says you owe. They do nothing to work with the tax system to help mitigate your taxes. If you are okay with that, than H&R Block is for you. I was not impressed at all with this office. The tax preparer we sat with seemed clueless and couldn't even spell. Did not make me feel confident, but we don't plan on coming back anyway since we prefer to use a private accountant who will actually work to save you money. ~mary
