Best japanese steakhouse in Brewster, New York (NY) 2024

We were pleasantly surprised by this Japanese tapas shop in Brewster.To be honest we didn't have too high expectations. We were just seeking for some sushi and it was cold outside. Oh my god we were blown away by the effort the chefs made. Many fresh fish presented in artistic and chic manner. They are definitely going for some degree of fusion tapas bar and we downed a bottle of expensive sake. Not cheap. But definitely we left having had a great time. I guess similar presentation can be much more expensive in Manhattan and some of the non-mainstream chef's efforts have rough edges. But this was definitely a 5 star experience. We'll return. ~Mike
