Best garden center in East Hampton, New York (NY) 2024

I’ve been buying my annuals for a substantial garden at Wittendales for years. Today I bought the last thing I’ll ever buy thanks to the mishandling of a simple issue by the aggressive guy (would not say “gentleman”) in the office. I had bought two topiary trees. One turned brown. The other is green. He was frothy as he explained that it was improperly watered. I asked why one is fine and this one is dead. It’s not like I just watered one. They’re five feet apart. My questions exasperated him and he stormed off. Had he not been such a jerk about it, I wouldve accepted the explanation and just bought another one. But given his terrible attitude and nastiness, I bought another tree (needed a match) and will never be back. Seems like other customers have had similar experiences with rudeness there. Buckleys just got a new customer. ~JBM
