Best bank in Malta, New York (NY) 2024

Good local bank. Tend to be conservative on loans. Lots of branches and arms available locally. ~Scott

I had a terrible experience working with this branch. When you open up the account the branch manager is very nice and friendly, but when you need them to explain an overdraft or help with refunding a fee, they never have your back. I'd say stay away from this bank. I know Malta is small and there may not be so many options but this branch is of course your worst choice! An example: - if you don't have enough money in your account for some reason and you have a pending transaction to pay for your credit card, you get charged 38$ every single time your credit card attempts which is 3 times a week. -If you deposit a money order, it takes a week to get deposited. - Manager doesn't help at all with refunding any of these, don't waste your time! ~pooya
