High Mills Garage

Excellent service. I unfortunately had extensive damage after running over a deer in the road. They weren’t cheap but worth the money so I am happy with it. Also, he gave us a 24 hour turn around after having to order parts. Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change, Wheel alignment ~Cynthia

Bell's Auto Sales & Services

Was told my problem with a flickering oil pressure light was "impossible" to fix, due to the mileage on my car (204k); wanted to reprogram some locking and lighting changes the owner's manual says I need a Saab mechanic with a Tech II tool to access, but was told that "he wouldn't waste his time." I'd give zero stars, but I can't. Not sure who the other reviewers are, but they must have dealt with someone else, because this experience was the most unprofessional encounter I've ever had, mechanic or not. Wasted a day's worth of work and the gas and time to drive there, too. I ABSOLUTELY recommend against using this mechanic. ~Jonn

Jade Bistro

20% gratuity included on dinner for 2. Beware of the fine print that says it “may” be included. It is definitely included. Took forever 2 get our order taken and then didn’t get our water/drinks refilled until we were leaving. All fine until you impose a mandatory $10 tip on 2 sushi roles which by the way have increased in price by 10%. 0 Stars. Here are a few reasons. Average sushi roll is 3 dollars more than any other sushi place in the area. Mr Wasabi is a much nicer place with much better prices and no mandatory tip. I asked that they let me adjust the tip and they said, no. Even after I stated that I would not go back if they enforced the tip. My wife went in a few weeks ago for take out and she waited 20 minutes before being helped and then didn’t get her food until 45 minutes total. This was on her lunch break from work. They have signs up that prices are going up due to costs but no other places in the area have increased prices or decreased serving sizes. This is a neighborhood place. I’d be surprised if they survive with the way they are doing business. ~J.

Village Tavern

We went around three in the afternoon and it was completely dead. Absolutely no one but the bartender and her boyfriend. They were both nice and friendly. French fries were good. I thinks the drinks were a little expensive, but I came from Florida so maybe I'm just used to cheaper prices:) all n all good experience ~Jacqueline
