If you're Stony Brook student, there are 3 Asian grocery stores near you. Two of them are located just across the train station (Route 25A) and they are close to each other. This one is better located while the other one is a little bit hidden. The third one is much bigger, located at Stony Brook Rd/Smithtown Bypass (Route 347). Of these three, Stony Asian Mart is definitely my least favorite one. Their price is generally a bit higher than the other Asian grocery nearby. On top of that, they also charge 8.625% sales tax even for food items, which no other grocery store does. I only shop here whenever I find the other grocery store nearby has no stock for the item I want while being too lazy to go to the bigger one. ~Ahmad

WARNING ⚠️ They have delivery issues. I was told that they don’t have a driver available and it’s too far to deliver. I guess it’s probably the rise in gas prices, but I don’t know. I picked up the fruit basket the next day. I was told it would be ready by 1pm. I got there at 1:30pm and had to wait 25 minutes for it. They gave me $10 back for the delivery fee. Same day delivery is not guaranteed. The staff were nice, and the store is clean. However, They definitely need more employees though. ~Ali
