Best bank in Asheville, North Carolina (NC) 2024

Went to this location on my way to airport, went in to do a routine qccount transfers I always do at the same time of the month. They wouldn't do my transactions becuase my card wasn't signed. I have done numerous transactions at other branches, in other states as well, Never had an issue. Especially when I have proper I.D as well as entering my pin to both accounts! That was more than enough to identify who I am. Not to mention the looks I was given on entry of this location as if I didn't belong. I wont say it was a racist act, but I definitely felt my ethnicity played a big part in the refusal to give me access to my money. I left the branch without access to my funds, only to arrive in Dalllas and get the exact transactions done without any issues! ~Ej

A few of the employees seem like they don't have any bank experience. Also, last week the online portal was down, now today their system is down: ATMs are closed. ~Jackie

The manger with the blonde hair and fake eyelashes is very rude I had been there for 15 mins trying to figure out what’s going on with my account and she basically told me she couldn’t help me because there was a line and she had 2 more appointments and they closed at 4 remind you that I had been there since 2:45 and then Dalton is just standing there hovering over the biracial girl teller like she going to steal money and granted he could have been help customer other customers it’s bad enough they don’t even have a drive through window but knowing it Friday you could have been better prepared that really makes me want to get my money out and go somewhere else with the error was on there part ~Whitney

I've had excellent experiences with tellers and bankers. I haven't experienced the frustrations other reviewers have had - perhaps the staff with whom they struggled have moved on? While commercial banking with Wells Fargo can be difficult to explain to some of our members/customers given WF's reputation at the national/global level, I'm often able to allay concerns by explaining the level of service I receive in person (and they're v. good online banking). * thumbs up * ~Laurel
