If you don’t want access to your own money and don’t want to be notified if there is a problem then 5/3rd bank is the bank for you. Otherwise, stay away. I would say they have poor customer service but they actually don’t have customer service. Deposits from established and vetted accounts are still held and unavailable for at least 3 businesses days. Bill pay is slower compared to other institutions. And the last straw was when I mobile deposited a check from my own account at another bank which was flagged as counterfeit thereby freezing my account. I only found out that’s what happened because I couldn’t log in (because my account was frozen)… I had to send them a pdf of my last bank statement from my other bank to prove the check was “real”… then I received a letter in the mail just days later that my account was closing due to lack of activity and having been frozen - but hey - they actually did me a favor and saved me the trouble. ~August
