12 Best gas station in Durham, North Carolina (NC) 2024

Gas prices are reasonable and payment easily happens through Mobile app scan. At times some pump gets faulty, so we may have to wait for a long time in the queue. Early mornings are the best time to fill gas there ~Esther

Rude clerk , bad costumer service ...waited over five minutes looking at the clerk busy doing some paperwork and texting ..ignored me completely...just left my drink on the counter and left . Will never go back ~Eagle

I have now pumped gas at this Family Fare five different times. Five different days at different times of the day and at different pumps. I have yet to have the pump give me a receipt. The reason I use pay at the pump is to avoid having to go inside, which I must do if I want a receipt. This is just plain lazy and dereliction of duty. I don't know if I'll be back. I've given them plenty of opportunity to get their act together. ~Mike

I grew upon the side of town this little, country store is in. Far, rural east Durham is where it's located and is where everybody gets gas, cigarettes, sodas, beer, bread, chips, snacks, their morning coffee, that one ingredient like baking soda or eggs you can run out and get, or a cool drink when riding your bike to it or past it to a friends house. Growing up I knew it as Popes, has exchanged hands over many times but it's still the neighbor good stop and shop. ~Heather

So I stopped in today/10-21-21, and set the pump then went to put my card back and "Click" Huh? I thought my gas tank burped (it was nigh empty!) but when I looked at the screen it said "Out of Service No poll" I went inside & the attendant said just go to the next pump. So I did. It also said Out of Service. Fortunately the other 2 pump stations still had gasoline. When I stopped last night at the Circle K on Renaissance Pkwy, they were out too. The attendant indicated it was "all day" but a friend that goes there often told me they've been out for 4 days! Sure hope this isn't a sign of the times! ~Norra

No restrooms were available and attendant wasn't the nicest. I'm sure he gets asked about bathrooms all the time but no bathrooms is frustrating when you're coming off the highway with three kids who have to pee. ~Sam

Paid for gas, cashier put the gas on the wrong pump and then refused to refund me or correct the situation. Told me they couldn’t give me contact info for their Manager and gave me a fake number to the customer service line. Smh. ~Amari
