Best gift shop in Flat Rock, North Carolina (NC) 2024

Such a great shop with so many unusual items from all around the world. Many local artists, local honey, locally made soaps, jams and candles are featured and the pricing is very reasonable. The staff is all very helpful and knowledgeable. This is my new favorite store! So happy they ship! ~Gwen

Took a trip to Asheville and took a recommendation from Pinterest. The Wrinkled Egg in Flat Rock made for a nice leisurely lunch and a little shopping. The eatery/ bakery is quite small but packs a wallop. Found in the back of The Wrinkled Egg boutique you’ll mosey up to the counter and place your order. Browse the baked good and check out the days special. After ordering find your way out to the outdoor only seating area and enjoy the fresh mountain air while sipping your favorite beverage. The tuna salad was delicious and the pickled onions on it just made it pop. The avocado BLT was amazing. Two thumbs up on the oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies!
