Placed on order to be delivered more than 24 hours in advance and it was scheduled to be delivered between 7pm and 8 pm. The order was placed as delayed. We called and spoke to the location and was told it would be delivered late as they were busy, we stated that was fine we just wanted to make sure it would be here if not we would go shopping if that is what needed to be done as we are on vacation and drove over 9 hours which is why we scheduled delivery. We understand busy and would have understood if we had been advised properly, even the door dash person called and asked if we wanted it tonight and we said yes. It is now 12:20am no word from anyone and now we cannot go get things as everyone is closed. This is unacceptable business and if you are short staffed we get it just be up front as we were with you. It is truly an issue that is troublesome in many ways. All those who are trying to work and can’t get jobs then all of those that are working to have some that really don’t want to be there and then those who are busting their tails to get a job done and probably working more than one job to do it. Just be forthcoming and say the truth so people who are shopping with you will continue to support as most of us understand but to leave us waiting more than 4 hours telling us it will be there and not show up well that is another story. FYI it is not just the Walmart that services Topsail NC this is happening at a lot of them. ~Judy
