Our son was doing his Appalachian State University orientation & we explored. Someone said, “check out Todd!” We took the drive through rolling landscapes, beautiful rural roads that led us to this tiny, historical spot. Todd Mercantile has some interesting blend of old and new items & a bakery too! There was a sweet young lady running this tiny, charming store. The next time you are near Boone, take the drive. It’s definitely an adventure. Kick back and enjoy some coffee and treats. Nearby there appeared to be a kayak rental place and someone said there is a restaurant. Go explore! ~J
