First off, I am a small business owner who has used many UPS stores before (Coral Springs, FL, Clayton, NC, etc.) to help run our business. We have always had a great experience.
Today I walked in with some packages (prepaid) and the employee pointed at the counter for me to drop them. I left and went next door to a supermarket. Suddenly, the employee shows up, puts my USPS packages in my shopping cart in the middle of the produce department, then says "we don't take post office stuff."
I guess that's the policy. I have no problem with that, at all. It hasn't been an issue at any other UPS store we have ever used, but okay. I do have an issue with how it was done. I was embarrassed. To me, this is not good customer service. He was clearly angry and not being customer-centric. Come over, let me know I should stop by on my way out as some packages didn't qualify, whatever.
For us, the end result is we won't likely be back. Too bad, really, as it was a convenient place to do everything. ~Scot
