I went to Beachcombers for the first time today and it was a truly amazing experience. I was a regular client at a different salon in Mentor for years, and Taylor Thomas was my regular stylist there. She did amazing work, so when she left the Mentor salon I was very disappointed. After getting a not-so-great haircut at that Mentor salon with a different stylist, I decided to see where my former stylist moved to and found her at Beachcombers. It was the BEST decision to come here! It was great catching up with Taylor, and she did a rockin' job, as always! It is very evident - from the decor to the performance of the staff to the other rave reviews - that the owner and staff put a lot of work into this salon and servicing their clients, and it definitely doesn't go unnoticed! I love the beach theme, too - and the prices are super reasonable for the quality of service they provide. Loved everything about this restaurant. It is a small plates concept so you can try a number of different dishes. We went with 2-3 per person and shared everything. All the food was delicious and very flavorful. Many combinations that I have never thought of that worked great. Cocktails were also good. Service was very nice and food came reasonably quick. There is a bar inside and about 5 tables and a patio outside with about 4 tables. There is parking in the back and on the street. Favorite dishes when we went was the dates and pork belly. Owner said he had a bike that he sold recently to another customer who could not afford it and offered it to me. Said he would call me in a week....well that never happened. I left more than a few messages to which he never responded to. So I went to J&J Cycles in Massillon and bought a 2014 heritage which had 6400 miles on the clock. Which by the way is something you wont find at fairport harbor motorcycles, as most of the bikes i saw were high mileage. ~Willi

Live right around the corner from here and I love it, they have everything I need. The employees are always welcoming and helpful and they remember who I am and what I always like to buy. If they don't have something I need, I ask them and they order it for me and it's there within 2 days. Jay has been nothing but amazing to me and my fiancé for the past 2 years (all my life for me). They have everything from beer to hygiene products, food and even a deli with food made fresh daily. Love this place!! ~Karissa

Tonight we ordered the fried chicken mac and cheese pizza and a large salad for dinner because we really just wanted something different. It was perfect. Salad was crisp and fresh, ranch dressing is amazing. The pizza was one of those pizzas that you buy on a cold night and it's the definition of comfort food. Service is always great. Gives you half the meat portion and then asks if you want double meat every time. The last 3 times have been very unsatisfactory compared to other Subway restaurants. I will pay the extra in gas to drive somewhere better from now on. Picture of my $9.99 sub with 3 pieces of meat. ~S.
