Wow. Amazing cat shelter. We got Lily, formerly Jenny, at FOF a few days ago. She's healthy and has adjusted to life in our apartment well, and is starting to get along with our older cat. (Supervised visitations still, we've gone 2 days without any hissing). She was one of 8 kittens, and for a small adoption fee we were able to take her home the same day. She is such a sweetheart and brings so much joy into the house. The workers at the shelter were knowledgeable and kind, and obviously wanted the best placement for such gorgeous cats. We adopted an older cat a few years ago, so we decided to adopt a kitten as a treat, and will likely adopt an older cat from FOF in a few Years. All of my friends and family adopt from here and have had the best experiences and companions. Lily loves her new cat trees, her new tunnels and was litter box trained so well by the shelter that she has ZERO accidents since moving in. (We were expecting at least one but she's an overachiever). She makes biscuits as she walks and chatters at the birds out our large office window which is her new favorite spot. It's hard to leave this place without a cart full, and even harder to leave without a smile! This staff clearly goes the extra mile to set themselves a part from other thrift stores, and it's core values & mission without a doubt are unmatched by GW. I got commuter car last week & thought I needed new tires. Jose looked at my tires & said I don’t need tires right now he put more air in tires then gave me referrals to others for tint, decal etc. I will definitely be back for my tires, wheel etc…. Best customer service! I highly recommend them! ~Jen
