Best drugstore in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania (PA) 2024

This store is terrible. Boxes everywhere for restocking and very messy junky looking shelves They don’t have gluten free cookies anymore and the employees stand around talking and not doing any work. ~Patti

I needed one pill for vertigo. I sat for 90 minutes waiting for my doctor to call, not moving so I didn’t start twirling. Finally I went up and asked if there was something over the counter. WITHOUT A WORD, the pharmacist went and got car sickness meds that had the same drug in it. So I waited 90 minutes when there was an over the counter that had the same drug!!! What I did not think to check; and he said NOTHING was the dosage. I assumed that the dosage would be less, not. The over the counter meds were double the amount of meclizine. I could not drive home - I slept. Rudest pharmacist that I have ever met. Rude to other staff also. I sat for a long time so I saw a lot. ~Dennita

I truly love CVS! But, Covid seems to have effected their inventory drastically. It seems things are out of stock more and more, and I have been going to surrounding CVS locations. This used to be my favorite CVS. Employees are nice and always willing to help! Unfortunately it seems they cannot keep up with inventory. ~Stephanie
