With all these new nail salons popping up, I still use the same place I've always used, for 15+ years. They do excellent work, never had to go back to fix any "problems" that occurred, and they are honest with you. They'll tell you which color looks best, if you do or do not need something done, etc. They know me by name and know what my preferences are. I recommend them over anyone in town. ~Benzo

I'm on vacation and in dire need of a fill and pedi. Heads up on two things: CASH ONLY MASKS REQUIRED Several pros and several cons for this place: Pros: * Only place open on Sunday. So thanks for providing service when no one else is available. * Quality work. My manicure was a solar powder fill with a gel french tip. She did a very nice job and my nails look great. * The pedi was also nice. An average massage throughout and a very nice gel french tip finish. Cons: * Eye appeal of the salon is poor but I guess we shouldn't care what the place looks like? I was concerned tho before I stepped in the door. * Expensive. My solar fill with gel french tip and pedi with gel french tip was $95. Their sign with the prices did not reflect it was going to be that expensive so it caught me off guard with the total (I expect up charges for gel and french, but base price was $50 for mani/pedi combo. Up charges usually are $5 each so that should have been around $70 or so). That is what I typically spend at my regular place after tip. So in this case, I hate to admit it, but I did not tip on top of the price. * Only accepts cash. Another reason there was no tip. My cash was limited. * The asian lady was not terribly unpleasant, but she certainly was not friendly. She was pretty particular about how I held my hands and would pull on me in what appeared to be irritation if my hand was not perfectly positioned like she wanted. I've had hundreds of manicures and she was definitely the most aggressive I've ever experienced. All in all, if I'm back down here and Sunday is the only day I had to go get this service then I would probably go back because the end result is acceptable, but overall I would be looking for another option if possible.
