I'm on vacation and in dire need of a fill and pedi. Heads up on two things: CASH ONLY MASKS REQUIRED Several pros and several cons for this place: Pros: * Only place open on Sunday. So thanks for providing service when no one else is available. * Quality work. My manicure was a solar powder fill with a gel french tip. She did a very nice job and my nails look great. * The pedi was also nice. An average massage throughout and a very nice gel french tip finish. Cons: * Eye appeal of the salon is poor but I guess we shouldn't care what the place looks like? I was concerned tho before I stepped in the door. * Expensive. My solar fill with gel french tip and pedi with gel french tip was $95. Their sign with the prices did not reflect it was going to be that expensive so it caught me off guard with the total (I expect up charges for gel and french, but base price was $50 for mani/pedi combo. Up charges usually are $5 each so that should have been around $70 or so). That is what I typically spend at my regular place after tip. So in this case, I hate to admit it, but I did not tip on top of the price. * Only accepts cash. Another reason there was no tip. My cash was limited. * The asian lady was not terribly unpleasant, but she certainly was not friendly. She was pretty particular about how I held my hands and would pull on me in what appeared to be irritation if my hand was not perfectly positioned like she wanted. I've had hundreds of manicures and she was definitely the most aggressive I've ever experienced. All in all, if I'm back down here and Sunday is the only day I had to go get this service then I would probably go back because the end result is acceptable, but overall I would be looking for another option if possible. I just left this place. (I’m from Houston TX where we have better salons I must say.)The lady super rude, since the minute I walked in. she looked mad and like she hates her job. When I told her to clip my nail a bit shorter she started to speak Chinese and refused to do it. She was about to start on my left foot when I told her I was not happy the way I was being treated, she then proceeded to tell me to leave! There are so many other nail salons within the area. I wish I’d never stopped at this place ever! Service: Pedicures

The pedicure was wonderful. However the owner did my nails and was very rude. I misunderstood what she was asking and then she got very rude with me. Then she told me she couldn't cut my nails short. I have a baby and keep my nails short because of him. She was then rough with my hands. I dont plan to to back.

They were uneven, not to mention she cut my cuticles twice on purpose. She was very rude and unpleasant to be around. My nails were not worth 50 bucks. Maybe like 10. The polish, which was gel, chipped in two days. Never going here again, they are rude and do a terrible job. Waste of money, going to Solar from now on

I don’t recommend this place to anyone. The lady was so rude. I guess I was too tense or something but she kept slapping my hand and pulling my arm. It’s weird because I get my nails done all the time and never have a problem. At one point she even told me to just look out the window! So unprofessional and not worth your money!

It had been a while since my sister and I had been able to get a pedicure. Jenny and her staff took us right in-with no appointment- and gave us the best experience ever! Felt very pampered and got the best pedicure! I am new to Port Lavaca and had been looking for a place to go. You have 2 new customers!

The lady there did my nails good but she was super rude. I should’ve left from the start the minute she slapped my hand down. I don’t understand why she kept doing it until other customers came in and we’re shocked as well. I’m never going back. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

What a breath of fresh air. It was the best pedicure I have had. I have been in this industry for many years. Du did a awesome job. Very gentle and very attentive to detail. Thanks for a wonderful experience

Very new to Port Lavaca and long overdue for a pedicure. I called and was seen right away. Walked into a shop with beautiful comfortable chairs and was greeted by Jenny! She sat me right away and never judged my HOOVES. Not only did she do an AMAZING job paying close attention to details she also educated me and explained what she was doing and the purpose for doing it. She was very sweet, made conversation and took the time to get to know me. It was by far the best experience I have ever had! Thank you Jenny, I will definitely be back!
