Best truck stop in Temple, Texas (TX) 2024

Frankly we where appalled at the terrible conditions here. To be honest I think the cities health department may want to do a surprise inspection. Service was terrible. There was a large wet spill of something by the fountain drink machine that they were making no attempt to clean up. There was just a sign warning of a wet floor Hazzard. The bathrooms where some of the most disgusting and worst we have seen. No soap, or paper towels. The odor in the men's lavatory was so bad that I was gaging coming out. My wife used the Women's rest room and uttered that it was so bad she "used hover mode" rather then sitting on the seat. Also no soap or paper towels left. This was attached to a Wendy's so you all can probably imagine from there. I sincerely hope none of us gets food poisoning. I will never use this Gas Station again nor this Wendy's. Worst service I have personally ever encountered at a convenience store. Also at the attached Wendy's the service was so bad that we were 3rd in line at the counter and it took a clear 35 minutes to get our food once we ordered. When we received our order both my Grandson's chicken nuggets where cold or no where near hot anyway. To thier credit the French fries where hot fresh and perfectly fried but that was the only light at the end of this dark tunnel. ~Scott
