We had a great time and brunch! My family and I visited Market Street Grill on Sunday, and we were sat down and ordered quickly. There was no wait, which was awesome. The ambiance was bright, spacious and unstuffy with tall ceilings. There is a fish market which has a scent of fish in the air, but not pungent. The decor is very east coast
I ordered a mimosa and the two piece fish and chips. My husband did also- as well as a bowl of clam chowder- and our son got the French toast. We were served buns with with a cinnamon orange glaze. Very good- I wish we had more glaze (mine was a bit bare) but still yummy. Honestly, everything was delicious. The mimosa was fresh squeezed with some pulp and sparkly bright, and there was a cranberry option too. The chowder was creamy and robust- a generous portion and served with a lovely hunk of sourdough- not dry or hard to pull apart. My son's French toast was good as well, but a bit less sweet than he was hoping. Make sure to make use of the butter, which in a bowl on the table before we were sat.
The fish was smashing! Breading was light, super crisp, and the fish was flaky and perfectly cooked. I loved the fries too- crispy and tasty!
Our meal was about $66 before tip.
One thing I was disappointed by was the bathrooms. They were pretty dirty.
All in all, we had a great visit! We will go again for sure. ~Sarah
