The cashier was very rude. The chips wouldn't ring up. Not my fault. But acted like it was. She was like I can't sell these to you. But with a bad attitude. like I didn't tell her to fill out a application and get a job in customer service. She should be trained to respect and value the customer that buys stuff to pay her salary. I will not be back to this Dollar general store again ~Pat

I have been going to this salon since 2019. Christina Bruce is absolutely amazing and understands what you are asking for and does exactly that. She understands how important her clients needs are and she absolutely goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy. If you aren’t once you get home and play with the styling yourself, she will fix it for you no charge, no questions asked. Like all businesses please don’t let the reflection of one stylist keep you from going here. While others in the salon may be good, Christina is absolutely the best. While she could work in a better respected hair salon that over charges, her passion is for her community in all levels. You won’t be disappointed. Just ask for Christina and the receptionist is so very friendly. The two of them alone make going here worth while. You gain friends with their down home approach. My family and I love this place. I purchased from Justin in April of 2022 a John Deere SB1148 tractor snowblower. It looked brand new --- I had just connected to my tractor to try it for this winter for the first time and engaged PTO. It was making an awful metal to metal sound and the impeller was hitting the sides. I called Justin on a Sunday and he stopped what he was doing and called me. I said I would just like my $ back. This is 6 months later after buying. I drove back up there 2 - 1/2 hour ride each way and as he said gave my $ back. Who does that kind of thing today right. Great people who own Shattuck --- thats what I call going above and beyond !!! ~john
