Best credit union in Parkersburg, West Virginia (WV) 2024

RUDE! I will never have an account with them again. I’ve banked with them for over 5 years, never asked them for anything. I paid off a big car loan & have always been in good standing with them. We’ve been struggling lately, as everyone has, & they’ve hit me with 3 overdrafts in 2 months ($75 total!!!!) I tried to explain my situation (out of work, no car, etc), & asked if there was anything they could do about the overdrafts, or even if they had overdraft protection I could enroll in (I literally started crying just because asking that was humiliating). The guy in the collection dept was one of the rudest, most condescending people I’ve ever dealt with. He not only had absolutely ZERO empathy, he actually CHASTISED me for over drafting & said there was NOTHING they could do. Little man, you have NO idea what is going on in peoples lives. And the way the world is, you think people are over drafting ON PURPOSE?? The absolute NERVE of this person blew me away. If I could give NEGATIVE stars, I would. BEWARE, bank elsewhere!!!! ~Allison
