Room was very clean. Staff was pleasant, polite, and friendly. No fridge or microwave, but you can use the microwave in the lobby. Bed was a bit on the firm side. Quaint spot off the beaten path. Nice retreat!

I cant actually review the golf course itself because i never got the opportunity to play. We drove all the way here to start a round at 7:30 am only to find nobody inside the clubhouse. There was no sign up indicating the course would be closed today, July 6th. The only sign was one on the front door saying the course would be closed on July 4th. We waited till 9am hoping they were just opening at a later time. Eventually the grounds crew informed us that the course was closed. How can you close a course without so much as a sign or notice on your website to let people know. There were several others who drove here and were waiting outside the door. Calling the phone number for the clubhouse resulted in a generic voice-mail with no information on course closings. Really this is just horrible management and whoever cant be bothered to convey simple information to their customers needs to be fired.

I mean what's not to like about this course. Greens always great, fairways well maintained. Several improvements made. Has a stay & play hotel, restaurant with excellent food & beverages. Clubhouse is always clean & inviting staff always engaging and the price excellent for the experience. GO, you will not be disappointed.

Bar was very limited choice on whisky's and most soft/hard liquor. My steak was order mid-rare to medium and came out almost well done, had mashed potatoes as the side and they were room temp. The flavors of all the food were great and enjoyed the meal and experience overall. Just wish I could have had more choices of drink and that my steak and side were cooked properly.

My company had an anniversary lunch here. I ordered the Smokey Mountain Burger, cooked medium. Burger was covered with a thin slice of ham , 2 pieces of crispy bacon and BBQ sauce with a brioche bun. I also had a side of Mac and Cheese with bacon bits. Very delicious !!! Staff was very friendly and service was great ! Would recommend to anyone. I plan on bringing my family back as soon as possible. May come back and play a round of golf also ! Edit: I thought I was reviewing Champions Bistro. I do however recommend the food and the golf course. !

Challenging holes and a very scenic golf course! I enjoyed playing here and plan to be back! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They also have practice chipping and putting greens and provide range balls with a round of golf.
