Every time I have had to speak to someone at the Iberia Parish School Board they have an attitude and are incredibly rude. I’m not sure why because I’m very polite and patient. The employees there must absolutely hate their job, themselves, and everyone else. Do better IPSB!!!

No good! No respect! Only trying to capitalize on their own lives while at work/ at school. People who live in Iberia parish are moving away mainly due our public schools in New Iberia...Not to mention, the school board is corrupt, completely unorganized and absolutely unstable... STEP IT UP, Iberia Parish! This is for all for the safety of our children. Bus drivers and other employees are not treated fairly!! This is unjust!! THIS IS WHY OUR PARENTS AND CHILDREN ARE MOVING TO OTHER PARISHES! IBERIA PARISH NEEDS TO "GET IT TOGETHER"! Seems as though only the teachers, the principal, the secretary and various Coteau Elementary employees in various divisions and positions are just worried about a paycheck and popularity & "TRULY NOT FOR THE SAFETY" of our kiddos! Respectfully 🇺🇸.

I love Iberia Parish and the Iberia Parish School District. As a teacher here for 21 years I can tell you it is the best place to work and help littles meet their potential.

Teachers don't have to take drug tests?! What is going on?!!! Can we trust that our EDUCATORS in our school systems will safely and properly care for our children attending our schools?! The school system lacks necessary safety protocols. The system is intentionally and are mainly & desperately putting our children's lives in dangerous situations due to lack of funding, unfair salaries for: employees in all positions needed to be fullfilled, lack of drug testing, lack of staff in all divisions and scheduling issues. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Thankfully we still have a good few "Godsent" employees in various positions that are "Seniors" /"professionals" still working and also few new great people in positions trying to make our school systems operate safely and properly in all divisions. Thank you and Thanks to all that have been dedicated to our community. With all due respect.....God bless

I am a retired teacher from here and have also substituted as a regular education teacher. I am concerned about the way substitutes are hired with no formal education. There are too many unprofessional teachers getting paid who are not qualified, certified or degreed. Those hired without formal training degrade our profession with actions toward others that put this school board in a place with bad reputations.

Very unkind and unthoughtful.. I have talked to Joel McFarland, Supervisor of Student Services and he doesn’t want address the issue that I have with school for the last two months. I feel like I am dealing with a school in a 3rd world country The whole system is based on politics and no rules no Law really exist in this school board.

i feel that Iberia parish school board is not doing well with the system of all the Iberia parish schools. they still have public schools open knowing that COVID-19 is getting worst and worst . and they refuse to keep all kids in school . I feel that they should all come in contact with each other and let all students do virtual until the Virus numbers increase down . and then they they want to put 7 classes knowing its not good they could've stuck with 4. I have less sleep , I stress over work , and they are just throwing work out like we have more than 2 hands and more than 1 brain. Ya'll need to do better cause ya'll not helping us out at all here . I have a lot more to say but i'm a keep it as that and let ya'll know what ya'll have to take care of .

This place is a complete and total joke. The people that work here are incompetent of doing their job. The front desk receptionist is rude and completely unprofessional. When I arrived for an appointment the doors were locked and the receptionist just sat behind the desk yelling at me through the glass door instead of getting up to speak to me through the doors like someone who had some sort of professionalism at doing their job. Just LAZY! They don't answer the phones which I think they have caller ID and screen calls and don't answer. This place is disappointing and an embarrassment to the school system. Seriously who hires these people? Maybe they need to drain the swamps at this place and get people that are actually competent and know how to work.

Absolutely disgusting. I would give them 0 stars if I could. They have no care for students. ABSOLUETELY NO REGARD for their feelings. They are always doing the most and are disrespectful to me and my family. I do not know how this place hasn't been shut down yet. Trashy place. Please close it down and take these poor kids out of prison.
