All the 1-star reviews are correct. They are now out of business and their building is up for lease. They went off with my daughter's down payment on a backup camera install, but she was able to get a refund from her credit card company when they determined the status of the business.

This is a good and slightly bad review of Insane Car Audio. The good: The work and quality of products are great! Their service great! Do they let you leave or even pick up your vehicle and not be totally ready? No! Pricey? Yes! But worth it! The bad: It’s sad to say they closed down. Not sure for how long but they are closed down for now. :( If and when they do reopen, I will be going back to add more stuff to my vehicle.

Do not do business here!! 2month old subwoofer I purchased stopped working and when I went in to check on it/repair the woman at the front was horribly rude and told me it was my fault and when I argued that point she freaked out saying “I don’t have the patience for this”

I had both front windows tinted a year an half ago. The driver side window tint is peeling. The passenger side window tint had bubbles. I went back to have them repair the defect. They stated they don't keep any information in their computer on client visits and they do not warranty their work. Do yourself a favor and get your car windows tinted somewhere else! I have had multiple cars, all of which I have had the windows tinted and this is the first time I have ever been told that the company doesn't offer a life time warranty on the tint. Extremely disappointed.

Paid over $700 to have all my door speakers replaced and they all stopped worked 2 months later. Complete waste of time and money. If you value quality please go elsewhere

I made the mistake of having another store which I thought was the college park location of Insane Car audio only to find they were "Crazy Car Audio" and not of the same company. That only became more evident as i left thier store after having them install a stereo on my Harley. 2 days behind schedule i needed to ship my motorcycle out the next morning for a west coast trip. I had to basicly sit in the store to get them to finish. Something wasnt right but i didnt have time to have them attempt to fix. After returning from my trip i notice that the sound was fading(already weak to start) so instead of taking it back to Carzy Car Audio i went to Insane car audio. Come to find out the amplifier i bought was installed but never connected. Insane Car Audio did a beautiful job rewiring and installing ALL of my equipment. Dont settle for second best.... You are CRAZY to go anywhere but Insane Car Audio! <----- see what I did there!

Great Shop with highly-knowledgeable staff in a very customer-focused atmosphere! Service after the sale is exceptional: I took my car in for help on a system I bought there 5 YEARS ago(!), and they still agreed to do the diagnostics and re-do of their earlier work to take care of me. Very Rare commitment, these days!

Three years ago, I had a car alarm installed by the Insane crew and the price, professionalism and technical expertise was unparalleled. Fast forward to this past Monday, I had my windows tinted. Workmanship and timeliness was great, however, that particular tint was a tad bit too dark for my liking, which Louie promptly told me to bring it back, whereupon, they applied a lighter tint percentage. I have been thoroughly pleased with all of my experiences and would highly recommend their service.

Did an "Okay" job and when I say okay I mean it... Went there got the job done for an okay price but saw a few flaws after I wanted to wait a week to let everything dry and pretty much look what it should when completed... I noticed on the back rear window some almost scratched out missing parts where you could tell it was cut out a little too close...Went to the store and was told that it was because of the salt on the road that it pulled some of the tint out.... Mind you this was back in winter a few months ago but how the hell can salt pull the window tint through glass is the worst stupid excuse for a F up I've heard.. One this dude barley spoke English but I got enough of what he wanted to try and tell me what it happened.. Anyway I'll try to get a pic but in the end I'll say it's a good tint and QUICK job which isn't always a good thing.. Check out Jeffs Auto I've gotten cars there that were ALWAYS GOOD but mom got her new car done there and the price 150 wasn't bad.
