We have rented Penske vans here regularly for our business. Always an issue; whether it's the new employee who can't set up the rental, not having the right rentals when you arrive, rentals not clean, you name it. We dread coming here..

Seeing as how they are located within the worst Home Depot location, it is not surprising that They dont even have 2 stars.

Horrid experience is a total understatement, I have never had a worst customer service experience in my entire life, that's correct, my ENTIRE LIFE, and believe me, i have lived through many. I reserved a moving truck several weeks prior to my 6/30 move date, upon showing up to pick up the rental i was told there were no trucks left, in utter disbelief I was handed the phone to speak with the local Penske office and was told they were diligently looking to secure a truck for me and it wouldn't be more than a few hours, I informed them that I had already hired and paid for movers and they were all set to go so time was of the essence. Fast forward 6 hours, no phone call from anyone. My movers had already come and go (goodbye $400). I frantically tried to call Penske, no answer, no voicemail, nothing... I head back to Home Depot (the pick up and drop off center). The HD associate then informed me that Penske closed at 2PM and thats why no one answered and that this happens all the time with them. That's right, they just left without so much as a phone call or a van on the busiest moving weekend of the year and that they routinely overbook their moving trucks. The lack of empathy here is mind-boggling. Out of 13 moving truck reservations that day at that location, only 4 people got their reservations fulfilled. I was "lucky" enough to get a 12 ft van at the end of the day from Home Depot, a far cry from the full sized moving truck I had reserved but I had no choice, I had to have the house vacated in order to close on the sale the next day, it took my wife and I 4 trips to get our move done shortly after midnight. I have yet to get a phone call from Penske acknowledging or even apologizing for their incompetence. Take your business elsewhere, moving day is far too stressful to deal with a company like this. If someone from Penske is reading this review, mark my words, you haven't heard the last of me.

I made a reservation for a truck on a thursday, and on Sunday, they informed me there was no truck available. Then they proceeded to not answer the phone after calling 10+ times. If you need a truck, save yourself and go somewhere else.

Horrid experience. Reserved a Penske truck for move day and Home Depot (HD) blames it on Penske for not having any available. It’s HD’s responsibility to ensure equipment is available for their customers if they want to be in the business of renting trucks. And what did they do to help, nothing.
