I made my appointment with Rachel at the Trio Hair Suite almost three weeks in advance, informing her that I would like to get a haircut and color. I asked how much the price would be for both.
I was given a price and showed up to my appointment. When I showed up I was informed that Rachel does not cut hair, something I was not informed of prior. I drove 1.5 hours under the impression I was getting a haircut and color for a certain price. A major reason for booking the appointment for me was to get a haircut.
After letting Rachel know I was upset about the situation and asking if a discount would be possible since I was informed I would be getting a cut and a color for the price she quoted, Rachel did not offer a discount for her mistake. I was charged the full amount just for color.
Rachel did agree to add on a deep conditioning treatment, which is appreciated. However, as the customer, I feel more could have been done to rectify the situation. Had the situation been handled differently, I would have happily been a returning customer. ~Ash
